CORE provides an oversease on-site education opportunity for students in CORE-associated joint and interdisciplinary majors during 2018 summer break. Details are as follows:
1. Overview
A. Organizer: Comparative Studies for East Asian Humanities
B. Target Applicants:
- Incoming students to CORE Project joint and interdisciplinary majors
(Comparative Studies for East Asian Humanities, Classics and Philology,
Data Science for Humanities, Philosophy, Politics and Economics)
- Undergraduate students majoring in one of the CORE participating departments
C. Scheduled Period: Friday, June 29th to Sunday, July 1st, 2018
D. Location: Shanghai, China
E. Number of Participants: Approximately 20 students
F. Main Schedule (Plan)
- Visit to the Site of the First National Congress of the Chinese Communist Party and House Museum of Soong Ching-ling
- Yun Bong-gil Memorial Hall and Lu Xun Park
- Special Lecture meetings with students at Fudan University
2. Selection Process
A. Application Period: Wednesday, May 23rd to Wednesday, May 30th, 2018 by 17:00
B. Required Documents: Application Form, Legal Representative Consent Form, Consent to Collection and Use of Personal Information Form (see attached documents) and Copy of Passport
C. Submission Procedure: Complete, sign and submit the required documents to the Comparative Studies for East Asian Humanities Office (Bldg. 14, Rm 517)

D. Announcement of Participants: Scheduled for Friday, June 1st, 2018 after 15:00
E. Other Information:
- Participation Fee: 100,000 won (payable to the travel agency, further information TBA)
- Participants must attend overseas on-site education pre-departure and organizational meetings
- Participants must submit the designated form to the CORE Project team upon completion of the overseas on-site education
