The CORE Project is providing an overseas on-site education opportunity for students in CORE-associated joint and interdisciplinary majors. Details are as follows:
1. Overview
A. Organizer: Comparative Studies for East Asian Humanities
B. Target Applicants:
-Incoming students to CORE Project joint and interdisciplinary majors
(Comparative Studies for East Asian Humanities, Classics and Philology,
Data Science for Humanities, Philosophy, Politics and Economics)
-Undergraduate students majoring in one of the CORE participating departments
C. Number of Participants: Approximately 30 students
D. Scheduled Period: Thu, Jan. 19 to Sun. Jan. 21st, 2018 / 2 nights and 3 days
E. Location: Okinawa, Japan
2. Selection Process
A. Application Period: Mon. Nov 27th, 2017 to Thu. Dec. 7th, 2017 by 6:00 PM
B. Required Documents: Application Form, Legal Representative Consent Form, Consent to Collection and Use of Personal Information Form (see attached documents)
C. Submission Procedure: Complete, sign and email the required documents to snueasia@snu.ac.kr
D. Announcement of Participants: Scheduled for Tues. Dec. 12, 2017
(※ schedule subject to change according to the Project team’s schedule)
E. Other Information:
- Participation Fee: 200,000 won
- Participants must attend overseas on-site education pre-departure and organizational meetings
- Participants must submit the designated form to the CORE Project team upon completion of the overseas on-site education
- Participants are required to submit a proof of oversease traveler's insurance 1 week prior to the departure
