1. UN Economic Affairs Officer Nam-Seok Kim has been invited to SNU to give a series of lectures at the following times and locations. Your interest and participation is appreciated. 

 

 A. Leaving No One Behind: the UN 2030 Agenda

    - Date: Thursday, May 17th, 2018 from 2 pm to 4 pm

    - Location: Sinyang Humanities Hall International Conference Room (Building 4 Room #302)

 

 B. Rethinking Development Assistance

    - Date: Monday, May 21st, from 5 pm to 6:30 pm

    - Location: SNU Asia Center Yeongwon Hall (Building 101 Room #210)  

 

 C. Host: The SNU Philosophy, Politics and Economics Interdisciplinary Program/SNU Center for Distributive Justice

 

 D. Sponsor: SNU CORE Project

2. The summer 2018 CORE domestic internship program has begun. Encouragement of students participation is appreciated.

 A. Target Applicants: Students enrolled in a program at the College of Humanities or registered as an interdisciplinary or joint major program connected to the CORE program  (Entering students may apply as well)

 B. Application Period: Monday, May 21st to Friday, May 25th  

 C. Internship Period: The latter part of June 2018, to the latter part of August 2018 ( two months subject to adjustment on a departmental basis 

 D. Participating Institutions and Number of Available Internship Positions: Approximately 19 positions across 7 participating institutions
    - Money Today
    - Com2uS
    - The Onyul Corporation
    - Selim Intellectual Property Law Firm
    - The Institute for Democracy (policy research institute for the Democratic Party of Korea)
    - The office of national assembly member Yong-Tae Kim (member of the Liberty Korea Party, representative for the Yangcheon-gu district)
    - The office of national assembly member Su-Min Kim (member of the Bareunmirae Party)

  E. Salary : 800,000 won a month

  F. Announcement of Selected Candidates: Notifications will be sent to selected applicants  through email or SMS on Monday, June 4th, 2018 after 1 pm
