College of Humanities CORE Program News for May 29th, 2017

1. CORE Domestic Public and Corporate Internship Support

     The CORE Project provides support for students participating in public and
     corporate internships in order to provide opportunities for students of the
     humanities to explore career paths and increase their employability skills.
     Students participating in unpaid internships are eligible to receive a certain
     amount of financial support upon screening. We kindly ask professors to
     encourage students to take advantage of this opportunity.
    A. Target Applicants: students of College of the humanities who are participating
                                                in internships with public and corporate institutions that they
                                                applied to individually.
    B. Support Amount: support varies by term (maximum 500,000 won per month;
                                              no duplicate compensation in the case of paid internships)
    C. Eligibility: all enrolled students of the Humanities Departments participating in
                               the CORE program
    D. Application Period: applications are accepted at any time during the spring semester
                                 application period (March 1st to August 31st, 2017)


2. End of the 2017 Spring Semester CORE Undergraduate Group Seminar Support



    A. End Date: Wednesday, May 31st, 2017

    B. Administrative Note: submit the proof of expenditure and results report forms for each team


3. CORE Teaching Assistant Meeting

   A meeting for all CORE research professors and teaching assistants for the Fundamental

   Academic Enrichment and Joint/Interdisciplinary Major programs will be held tomorrow

  (Tuesday) in the CORE seminar room.
    A. Time: Tuesday, May 30th, 2017 at 12:00 PM

    B. Location: Building 14, Room 601

    C. Agenda:

       - Report on the results of the CORE first-year evaluation consulting (face-to-face evaluation)

         conducted on May 26th

       - Discussion of follow-up measures and supplementary matters based on the assessment


       - Discussion on the main projects for the 2017 summer vacation period and fall semester
