College of Humanities CORE Program News for March 27th, 2017
** Weekly or Biweekly Newsletter for Professors at the College of Humanities
1. Request for Submission of 2016 Faculty Research Activity Reports
The number of articles and presentations from College of Humanities full-time
instructors in 2016 will be utilized as an essential index of the College of Humanities
Research and Education (CORE) annual evaluation and self-assessment.
Presently it is estimated that this number is approximately 80 less than in 2015.
We request that professors who have not yet submitted their 2016 research
achievements do so within the required period without exception.
Under the fundamental academic enrichment model, in which scholarships for
undergraduate and graduate students are the essential feature, the rate of increase
in graduate program admissions and research results is the primary evaluation index.
